HAWANA AQUA PARK has opened its doors: The new water paradise in Oman features world-class aquatainment: 65,000 square metres of water fun!

Cairo/Munich, January 10th, 2018 (w&p) — With the New Year comes an exciting, new launch: On time for the start of 2018, Oman’s Hawana Salalah, a holiday paradise, now has one more attraction to offer. In its very first days already, young and younger water enthusiasts are incredibly excited about the Hawana Aqua Park. This wonderful, family-friendly, temperature-cooling, world-class aquatainment centre is the new focus of the area, covering a total of 65,000 square metres.

A wave pool, various other pools, rapid water slides and a kid’s pool with different smaller slides provide endless fun and thrills for all. Adrenaline junkies are particularly fond of the slide tower, from where you can plunge into adventure from the very top of a palm covered gallery.

Comfortable loungers separated by generous sunshades give guests plenty of room for reading and relaxing. The little ones have fun on the playground, and when they get hungry after so much exercise, the food court with all kinds of drinks and delicacies is only a few steps away.

For guests of the Hawana Salalah Hotels Al Fanar, Rotana and Juweira, a day ticket for the Hawana Aqua Park costs 5.50 Euro and the weekly ticket is 15.50 Euro. Admission for children up to two years of age is free, and children ages 2 to 11 years pay only half the ticket price.

The spectacular new waterpark is another colourful addition to Hawana Salalah’s impressive range of leisure centres and activities. With more than eight kilometres of beaches along the Arabian Sea, the up-and-coming resort is a holiday destination for families as well as couples and friends who want to spend a relaxing and varied holiday together. The rich tropical environment at the foot of the Dhofar Mountains – with springs, streams and palm-lined sandy beaches – makes the region around Hawana Salalah also known as the “Caribbean of the Orient.” Only 15 kilometres from Salalah International Airport, this new destination’s latest development is inspired by Orascom’s flagship El Gouna resort in Egypt, which is synonymous with top hotels, modern infrastructures including a marina – and the relaxed lifestyle of an international community.
